No Ordinary Monday Blue
Turning towards that irritating sound, wanting to slam hard and stop the snooze. Searching for the location of that item by estimating the sound of that ring. Only willing to move the arms reaching capacity, searching it and trying to avoid actually waking up. "Ah.. There you are". Looked at the screen with only one eye opened, wondered why would this person call me at this hour. Expecting a lame excuse for calling and hesitantly touched the green keypad.
"Yes?" Was the question asked. The brain was still dehydrated for sleep from past nights. Amazingly enough, there is a part of the brain where it's able to detect the different voice tone on the other end of the call. Hearing the fear, the shocked, the tr
emble of the voice, hearing of what had happen just made the heart stopped. It stopped for millisecond. The heart stopped pumping, the blood flow jammed, the fingers and toes crunched without enough oxygen flowing through. Unable to move for that millisecond, the nerves system strikes. The blood in the vein suffocating, screaming and grasping for air. "Breathe, it whispered. Breathe". Taking in the cold and dry air, feeling the chill through the nose. The air flowed through the nose trials, powering up the system and the brain.
Calm. Stay calm. Difficult but necessary. Tranquility is the key. Breathe again. A quick change and off I go without caring anything else. Worries flash through and none matters. Only this matters.
This definitely beat the start of an ordinary Monday Blue.
